WHAT WE PRINT FROM?

Specification
We use a range of canvas materials from water resistant canvas to fast dry glossy canvas, fast dry matte canvas, coated cotton canvas, in either heavy or light versions . The two main types of 420gsm canvas used for our canvas print UK service are:

• Matt white canvas – to eliminate glare. Uses UV inks
• Satin canvas – mainly for large format prints, bigger than 1500mm. Printed with Eco-Solvent also have other types of canvas print, one of which is DYE SUBLIMATION which means this canvas is water proof for heavy duty exterior use in all weathers.

Our canvas prints are printed with UV ink and eco solvent inks because they have excellent anti-fade and weather resistance properties to protect your canvas print against the effect of UV light or dampness in the air. For additional protection, where canvases are intended for use in environments with food smells or high traffic areas, we can add a spray laminate. The laminate is sprayed once over the canvas to give it the extra protection.
Once the printing process has been completed, the canvas print is stretched over a frame and takes it finished form, ready to be hung on the wall.
Alternatively, canvas can be cut to size, with optional added borders or bleed. Bleed ensures that the image can be wrapped studio wrapped (i.e. wrapped around a wooden frame).

Sizes
Our standard canvas print UK sizes are a3, a2, a1, a0 and the depth of the frame is a 36mm profile. However our large format and wide format capability enables us to offer a canvas print UK service for oversized canvas prints, including backdrops for stage performances, conferences, etc and  large, light weight canvas panels which can take place of Foamex panels for use in retail outlets and advertising.

Cost
Prices start from £50.00 for A3, £60.00 for A2, £70.00 for A1 and £95 for A0.
Prices quoted are for framed canvases with a 36mm profile depth frame and will differ if framing and/ or mounting are not required.
We offer discounts on multiple purchases and bulk orders - the more you buy the cheaper it is!
