• UV print - produces a high resolution photographic print with vibrant colour, completely neutral gray balance and sharp edges. As the ink is cured by UV light, it has high resistance to fading and moisture.
• Lambda photo print – for precision exposure and traditional photo-chemical development. Lambda laser printing on silver halide paper produces durable prints with optimum sharpness and richness of detail.

The most common print sizes include A2 - A0. However we can supply custom sizes on request and large format photographic print e.g. 1500x1200, and 2000x1000

We can print on all commonly used substrates including matte or gloss photographic paper, self adhesive film, PVC, vinyl, mesh or canvas. Depending on proposed use and client’s specification, we can use UV ink or solvent inks for large format photographic print to ensure maximum resistance to UV light and fading.

Our modern large format photographic print processes produce consistent colour characteristics with sharp edges and fine details even for the largest sizes. We check all artwork before printing to ensure that it is sized correctly and is of sufficiently high resolution for enlargement to the required size. The most often requested formats are:

• HIGH GRADE PHOTO PAPER is available in a matte or glossy finish for colour or black and white print. The preferred choice is Kodak gloss paper printed with Dye inks which provides the best results with brilliant highlights, high contrasts, and outstanding durability. It is particularly effective for black and white photography or photos with relatively large areas of white. If a matt finish is required, we use a satin paper with either Dye or UV inks. UV inks are longer lasting and used for long term displays.
• ACRYLIC creates a deep, luminous effect and offers natural UV protection for your prints.  Acrylic is best for colour photographs and digital images with great depth or where an effect of depth is desired. Superchrome offers two types of acrylic photo printing: direct onto the solid acrylic substrate surface or on clear self adhesive film placed between acrylic sheet and block board.

CANVAS has a subtle texture which creates a distinctive look for photographs.   Canvas is a perfect medium for creating photo-realistic images for discerning clients who demand quality digital images such as professional photographers, galleries, museums, interior designers and artists.

Superchrome offers post-print finishing to  complement our large format photographic print service.  These include a range of cold and hot laminates for total protection using the best quality ink jet compatible finishing films to ensure a longer life and a better finish.
Photographic paper prints are generally prepare4d for framing behind glass. However, you can choose to have your photographic print mounted ready for hanging on foam board, foamex, wood, acrylic, aluminium or Dibond. For cost efficient, quick and easy to hang displays, prints can be either pasted or directly printed on FOAMEX and mounted on the wall using adhesive acrylic tape.
