Photo Printing On Foam Board and FOAMEX

Superchrome offer large format digital printing services, including photo printing on foam board and Foamex. Both professional and family photos can be printed and set off to maximum advantage on foam core board which eliminates the need for a frame for a more contemporary look. Alternatively, graphics can be printed directly onto Foam board and Foamex, the preferred option for large posters as it gives a much better result.

FOAMEX – a flexible and durable lightweight board, ideal for indoor wall mounting or free standing. It has a smooth matt finish and is available in a large choice of colours. Foamex comes in various thicknesses (1mm, 3mm, 5mm or 10mm)enabling it to be used as a backing for signage instead of a frame.

Images can also be printed directly onto Foamex in vivid, long-lasting colour. The main advantage of Foamex is its durability. Foamex signs are waterproof and weather resistant, lasting up to a year outdoors and up to 10 years indoors. The versatility of photo printing on Foamex lends itself to a number of applications for advertising display, exhibition shell schemes, signage, retail POS and POP display and wall panels.

FOAM BOARD - a durable lightweight material for all indoor and outdoor printing and mounting applications. It has an exceptional ability to accept ink jet as well as full colour printing.  Photo printing on foam board is widely used for all kinds of signage, menu boards and numerous industrial applications.

Economic standard foam board is best suited for short term use. If a display board will require repeated handling and frequent transportation, premium quality Gator foam board is the preferred substrate because it is more rigid and dent resistant.

For large format direct photo printing on Foam board and Foamex substrates, maximum width is 1.5m and length can be up to 3m.   Mounted photos can be ordered in A4, A3, A2, A1, and A0 – custom sizes also available.
