Window graphics
Turn glass into a useful part of your brand.
Retail store graphics have to work at three distances: across the street, at the door and at arm's length on the shop floor. This page is for store managers, visual merchandisers and brand teams planning a window scheme or a refit.

A two-week sale and a permanent brand window should not use the same product. Short promotions suit removable vinyl that peels away cleanly, leaving the glass ready for the next campaign. Longer schemes can justify a more durable film, while posters in frames are the simplest thing to swap when offers change weekly. Our window graphics page explains the film types. Check your lease before ordering, because landlords and shopping centres often set their own rules on what can go on the glass.
Stand outside at the time of day your customers pass. Reflections wash out fine detail, so large type and strong contrast usually survive better than delicate imagery. Inside, the back of a window print is visible to staff and shoppers, and a one-sided graphic can look unfinished. Double-sided or blockout options solve this, and perforated film shows the image outside while keeping a view out from the shop. Full coverage also cuts daylight.
Multi-branch jobs usually go wrong on measurements, not printing. Windows that look identical can differ by several millimetres, and door handles or mullions get forgotten. Ask each branch for a measured sketch and a photo, then list every panel by store. Beyond the glass, wall graphics and floor graphics can carry the same message through to the till, although floor products need checking for slip performance on your surface. Label each store's set clearly.
Removable vinyls are made for this and normally peel off cleanly, though adhesive behaviour depends on the film, how long it stays up and sun exposure. Tell us the campaign length and we can suggest a suitable film.
Keep the design consistent but expect to resize it. Windows rarely match exactly, so a master layout with safe areas for logos and offers can be adapted to each store's measurements without losing key messages.
