Turn glass into a useful part of your brand.
Frosted window vinyl gives plain glass the look of sandblasting, softening the view while still letting daylight through. It is popular with offices, clinics and shops that want privacy without blinds.

Full coverage is rarely needed. Think about who is looking from where: a seated person in a meeting room needs a band at a different height from a person standing at a street-level window. Mark the top and bottom of the band on the glass with masking tape, then sit and stand on both sides before committing. Leaving clear strips keeps a room feeling open. Remember that frost obscures rather than blocks, so shapes and movement can still show, especially when a room is lit after dark.
There are several ways to add branding. Letters can be cut from frosted film and stuck to clear glass, or cut out of a full panel so the logo appears clear within the frost. The second method needs bold shapes, as thin strokes are fiddly to weed and apply. Patterns such as graduated stripes can also be printed. Send your logo as vector artwork so the cutting lines stay crisp. If you only have a low-resolution copy, ask about graphic design support, and window graphics covers the other films available.
Most film goes on the inside face, where it is protected from weather and easy to clean with a soft cloth. Measure each pane separately, because old frames are rarely identical, and note any beading or rubber seals that reduce the visible area. Films can affect how glass absorbs heat, so ask your glazing supplier if you have sealed units or specialist glass. Glazed doors and screens may also need safety markings under building rules, so check what applies to your premises rather than assuming decorative film will meet them.
Usually, yes. Warming the film gently helps it lift, and any adhesive left behind can normally be cleaned off the glass. The older the film, and the more sun it has had, the harder this tends to become.
It hides detail, but when a room is brightly lit and the street is dark, silhouettes close to the glass may still show. If full blackout is the aim, ask us about a different material.
