Office reception graphics

A reception area sets a visitor's expectations in the time it takes to sign the guest book. This page is for office managers, workplace teams and fit-out designers who want office reception graphics that say something real about the business.

Start from where visitors stand and wait

Walk in from the lift or street door as a visitor would. The first wall you face is your main position, and it usually suits one strong statement, not a list of services. A logo in print or vinyl on that wall, or a feature panel in printed acrylic stood off with fixings, gives a sense of depth. The wall beside the seating is different: visitors spend several minutes there, so it can carry more detail, such as your history, projects or people in a wall graphic.

Glass partitions and meeting rooms

Modern receptions often open onto glazed meeting rooms, which raises two needs. Frosted film offers privacy for meetings without losing the light, and patterns or logos can make it a branding feature. Our window graphics page shows the options. Large glass panels may also need visible markings so people do not walk into them, and the requirements depend on the building and how it is used. Check with your building manager or designer, then we can build the marking into your design.

Leases, moves and rebrands

Most offices are rented, so read your lease before anything sticks to a wall. Landlords may require reinstatement at the end of a term, and some wall finishes can be damaged during removal. Removable films or fixed panels that come away cleanly can reduce that risk, so ask us which suits your surface. Think ahead as well. Companies change names, merge and move floors, and a design split into separate panels can be updated in part, without a complete rework of the room.

Your questions.

Can office reception graphics be removed when the lease ends?

Usually, if the right product is chosen. Removable vinyls and panel systems are designed with this in mind, but results vary with paint and surface. Mention your lease conditions at the start so we can suggest suitable options.

Which finish suits a logo on a reception wall?

It depends on your brand and lighting. Printed acrylic adds gloss and depth, matt vinyl is understated, and frosted film suits glass. Ask us for samples, then view them in your reception before deciding.
