Put your message in focus with posters for shop windows, exhibitions, presentations and promotional campaigns.
A2 poster printing delivers a 420 x 594mm sheet, the format many people picture when they think of a poster on a wall. It suits community noticeboards, shop windows, gig promotion and prints for the home.

Shops, cafes and libraries have limited space, and owners are more likely to say yes to a poster that does not swallow their window. That makes this size handy for local campaigns, where you need permission from many small venues. A run of A2 can go up on noticeboards, in stairwells or on the inside of a glass door. Ask each venue before you turn up, and find out whether they prefer tape, pins or a frame, as that decides how you should leave your margins.
Unlike bigger formats, this poster is usually read at a distance of one or two metres, so it can carry more information: dates, a short list of acts, a map or a booking link. Hierarchy still counts. One clear headline, one image, then the practical details, in that order. Text smaller than a newspaper's body copy starts to get lost. Images at 200 pixels per inch need about 3307 x 4677 pixels. If you would like layout help, ask about our graphic design service.
A poster taped inside a sunny window can fade and curl, and the sunlight behind can show text printed on the reverse of thin stock. A heavier paper resists curl and handles better, while a satin surface suits home prints that go into a frame. Posters for sale at gigs or in shops may benefit from a thicker stock too, since buyers notice the feel. Compare papers and surfaces under poster printing.
Ask us with your quantity and paper choice. Digital print generally suits short runs well, as there is no plate setup involved, so a small batch for a local event is a perfectly reasonable request.
Standard A2 frames are widely available. If you want a mount around the print, buy a larger frame with a mount cut for this size, and check the opening before you order.
