Canvas printing
Give a photograph, illustration or artwork a textured canvas finish.
For an interior designer, wall art is the finishing layer of a scheme, and it has to agree with paint, fabric and furniture chosen months earlier. This page is for designers and stylists commissioning printed art for homes, show flats and commercial spaces.

Art above a sofa or headboard often looks settled at around two thirds of the furniture's width, though that is a starting point rather than a rule. Cut templates from brown paper and tape them up before you specify. Think about hanging height relative to where people sit in the room. For long walls, a set of two or three canvas prints can be easier to install and to carry through a tight stairwell than one large piece, and needs less bracing.
Printed colour will not match a paint chip exactly, because ink, paper and paint respond to light differently. Send us the physical swatches rather than screen references, then review a printed sample in the room, in daylight and at night. If you want a colour shift in the image itself, a graded version of the artwork can warm it or pull it towards the palette. Surfaces change the feel too: canvas brings texture, while acrylic adds depth and a glossy, contemporary edge.
A beautiful image from a stock site or an online search may not be cleared for use. Check that the licence covers print at the size and quantity you intend, particularly in commercial projects such as hotel rooms or show homes, where more than one copy may be needed. Commissioning a photographer or artist for a limited piece can make a scheme unique. For gallery-style pieces with paper and frame, fine art printing may be a better route than canvas.
We can work towards it, but an exact match across materials is not always possible. Send physical swatches and allow time for a sample, then judge it in the actual room lighting.
Wrapped image edges feel contemporary and suit frameless hanging, while coloured edges keep the whole image on the front. A float frame adds a more finished look. Ask us which options suit your image.
