Exhibition counter graphics

The counter is where conversations start, and also where bags, feet and coffee cups collide with your branding. Exhibition counter graphics are for anyone with a promotional or reception counter who wants it to match the stand and survive a busy show.

Your staff are going to block part of it

Think about how the counter is used before placing your logo. A team member standing behind it hides nothing, but visitors leaning in front will cover the middle, and a sample display on top can hide the upper edge. Place your name high on the front panel, where it reads over people's shoulders, and avoid putting anything vital near the floor. If the counter faces two aisles, brand the side panels too, because many visitors approach from an angle and never see the front.

Wrapping a curve is not the same as a flat panel

Curved fronts are measured along the arc rather than straight across, so a flexible tape pressed flat against the surface gives the right figure. Check how the graphic attaches:

  • A flexible printed sheet that slots into the frame
  • Magnetic strips, for some steel counters
  • A fabric sleeve that pulls over a folding structure
  • Self-adhesive vinyl, on smooth rigid fronts

Each manufacturer's template differs, so share the model name, or a measured drawing if you have an older unit.

Expect scuffs, and plan for changes

The lower third gets kicked, and corners suffer in transit, so ask about a tougher print or a protective laminate if your counter travels regularly. Dark, solid colours show marks soonest. If you attend different shows with different messages, a graphic that lifts off lets you keep the hardware and swap the front, which works out simpler than buying a second counter. Exhibition counter graphics should also align with the rest of the stand, so see our exhibition displays and other accessories.

Your questions.

Can you print graphics for a counter I already own?

Usually, as long as we know exactly how it is built. Supply the model name or measurements and photos of the fixing, and we will let you know what can be done for that unit.

Should the counter match my back wall artwork exactly?

It helps if the colour and logo match, but copying the artwork is rarely necessary. A simpler counter front usually reads better, since the wall behind it is already carrying the detailed message.
